Pricing
Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check, or Venmo (@sherylhpowell).

Rates are subject to change with adequate notice. Advance payments are accepted but are not a guarantee of service and will be refunded if services are not provided. Longer lessons are available upon request at a prorated rate.
Policies
Please give at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are still due in full — last-minute cancellations leave a slot that cannot be filled.
More than two late cancellations may result in your lesson time being offered to another student.
Lesson days are agreed upon at the meet and greet but can be rescheduled for conflicts or bad weather. Scheduling is flexible, especially in summer.
Sheryl handles all scheduling. Text her at 617-319-0675. To reach Rick during a lesson, always text Sheryl rather than calling Rick directly.
Parents are encouraged to drop off at the start of the lesson and pick up promptly afterward. Please wait in your vehicle until the scheduled start time.
If you stay and observe, please remain quiet and let the lesson run without interruption. It makes a real difference.
All lessons are video-recorded for the safety of both parties. Recordings are available to parents on request — a great way to follow your child's progress from home.
Regular home practice is expected. Students who practice between lessons progress significantly faster than those who don't.
Fine Print
Participation is at-will and can be discontinued at any time by either party.
There are pets in the home that will be put away during lessons — please let us know if allergies are a concern. Please also let us know of any food or other environmental allergies.
